Alabama Launchpad, the state's longest-running startup competition and a program of the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama, named CuraTech of Enterprise, Alabama one of ten finalists in its Cycle 2 2026 competition, with $175,000 in non-dilutive funding on the line. CuraTech was selected in the Technology division.
The announcement describes how CuraTech plugs into existing irrigation systems and uses soil intelligence to handle watering and treatments automatically, cutting water use by about 40%. Finalists advance to closed-door investor meetings in November.
CuraTech Outdoor Systems turns the irrigation already in the ground into one system that waters, fertilizes, controls mosquitoes, and repels deer. All natural, kid and pet friendly. The first production run launches Q1 2027.
